Lagos has world-class homes. It has not, until now, had a service market to match them.

Why we started

Anyone who lives in Lekki, Ikoyi, or VI knows the routine. The water heater goes. You text a friend, who texts a friend. A name comes back. The name does not show up. A different name shows up, two hours later, in someone else's uniform. You pay too much for an uncertain job, and you have no recourse if it leaks again next week.

The homes are excellent. The labour pool is excellent. What was missing was the layer in between.

How we think about the problem

Lox is built on a single conviction: the only way to keep a twenty-five-minute promise in Lagos is to staff each neighbourhood densely enough that someone is always within a one-to-three-kilometre ring. We do not try to cover the whole city with a thin layer of providers. We saturate one area, then the next.

Inside each ring, we train, we verify, we stand behind the work. The provider who shows up at your door is a Lox provider, with a Lox uniform, a Lox guarantee, and a name we can vouch for.

Where we are

We are launching across eight upscale Lagos neighbourhoods: Lekki Phase 1, Chevron Drive, Oniru, Ikate Elegushi, Orchid, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, and Ikeja GRA. We plan to be in twenty by the end of next year. Each new area is opened only when we have enough verified providers on the ground to honour the SLA on day one.

The team

Lox was founded in Lagos in 2026 by a small group of operators with backgrounds in software, logistics, and the trades themselves. We are based in Lekki. We answer our own phones.
