Lox
A wide vista of a Lagos residential neighbourhood at golden hour

About Lox for providers

We bring you the jobs. You bring the work.

If you are a tradesperson reading this, the short version is: Lox exists so that good Lagos technicians can stop competing on luck and start competing on craft.

Where the idea came from

Two truths about the Lagos service market have been obvious for years. The first is that there is no shortage of skilled labour. The second is that almost none of that skill reaches the customer reliably. Good plumbers wait by their phones. Customers chase three unreliable contacts. Nobody comes out ahead.

Lox was started by operators who had run logistics, marketplaces, and trades businesses in Lagos and watched this play out for years. We thought we could fix the matching layer between you and the people who need you, and that the way to do it was to make the matches local, dense, and fast.

How the platform is designed for you

Most platforms send you across the city for a single job, then leave you to drive home empty. Lox keeps you inside a small ring. We pre-stage demand for your area, so the work clusters near where you already are. You spend the day doing the job, not getting to the job.

You set your own hours. You see every job before you accept it. You keep your earnings, paid weekly, with no hidden cuts. Customer disputes go through a Lox coordinator, not a faceless chat bot.

What we ask of you

One thing, mostly: show up. Show up on time, in your uniform, ready to work. The Lox brand on your shirt means a Lox customer trusts you the moment they open the door, and we want to keep that trust unbroken.

Where we are

We are hiring across all five trades in Lekki Phase 1, Chevron Drive, Oniru, Ikate Elegushi, Orchid, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, and Ikeja GRA. As we open new areas we hire local providers first.
